Tips Before Your Visit

The permanent exhibition, themed “Human Beings in Coexistence with Nature,” consists of two main buildings: the Japan Gallery (three above-ground floors) and the Global Gallery (three above-ground and three underground floors). The exhibition spaces are very large, and it takes about 1 to 2 hours just to see the main exhibits. We recommend planning your visit in advance and deciding which exhibits to focus on.
