Exploring Local Regions Through Kahaku’s Exhibitions
What is “Exploring Local Regions Through Kahaku’s Exhibitions”?
This program allows visitors to explore the museum using a reference list of permanent exhibition materials organized by prefecture (hereafter referred to as the List by Prefecture). It is designed to help visitors gain a deeper understanding of and rediscover the nature and culture of their hometowns. In addition to the List by Prefecture, worksheets have also been prepared. Please use them not only during your visit but also for learning before and after.
List by Prefecture
The specimens and materials on display in our permanent exhibition rooms (Global Gallery and Japan Gallery) are classified by prefecture. Some entries may include episodes written by our museum researchers.
