For Those Requesting Promotional Photographs

We provide promotional photographs free of charge for those introducing the National Museum of Nature and Science in publications, television programs, etc.
(Photographs can be viewed on the List of Available Photographs page.)

Application Procedure

(1) Please submit your request to use photographs via the "Application Form" located at the bottom of the List of Available Photographs page. Fill in the required fields on the form and submit it.
If you have a project proposal for the publication or program, please attach it and send it to the email address listed in the contact information below.
If you require a photograph of a specific exhibit material other than the sample photos, please indicate this in the "Remarks" section of the application form.

(2) After reviewing your application, the Museum will contact you regarding approval or denial of use.

(3) Please use the photos after submitting a Usage Application Form.

Notes on Use

1. Please refrain from using the photos for purposes other than those specified in your application.
2. When publishing, broadcasting, or screening, please include the credit "Photo provided by: National Museum of Nature and Science" next to the photograph used.
3. Please send one copy of the published print material or video to the Museum. (Address: "Destination for Proposals/Publications, etc." listed above)
4. Please do not provide the downloaded data to any third party.
5. After use, please delete any remaining data from the production process other than the final printed master or program master tape.
6. If you plan on secondary use, please submit an application again.
