Important Information
ComPaSS is an exhibition area designed for children (ages 0 to elementary school age) to enjoy together with their guardians (18 years or older). Please do not enter the exhibition with children alone or adults alone. This facility is primarily for children 4 to 6 years old and their guardians, children 0 to elementary school age and their guardians are also welcome. For the safety of all visitors, date-specific reservations and payment are required in advance for everyone, from children aged 0 to adults.


Capacity / Hours of Use / Workshop
Capacity
- The maximum number of capacity is 60 at each session (per time slot).
- Visitors are not allowed to switch in or out once admitted.
- The hours of each session are from 00 minutes to 45 minutes. Admission is by complete replacement.
- Please arrive 5 minutes before the start of each session. Before entering, we will provide announcements
- on "How to Enjoy the ComPaSS" and "Guidelines for ComPaSS".
- Even if you enter the room late, you will be available to use the room only until the end time (45 minutes every hour), and you have to leave the ComPaSS.

(Sessions marked with ★ on Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays include a workshop. Participation is optional. Please note that our workshop is conducted in Japanese.)
Workshop
- At our workshops, we talk stories related to museum exhibits, such as animals and plants.
- These sessions include interactive time for parents and children to enjoy together, as well as hands-on craft activities.
- They provide opportunities to search for our museum collections featured in the stories within the museum or explore them in more detail using picture books.
Guidelines for Visitors
- Visitors may be asked to leave if dangerous behavior continues, such as running inside the exhibition room.
- ComPaSS is used by children of various ages and sizes. For safety, guardians are asked to supervise their children at all times, regardless of age.
- We are not responsible for any disputes or accidents that occur between visitors inside ComPaSS.
- Please keep your valuables with you at all times. We cannot be held responsible for any loss or theft.
- Group visits are not accepted.
- Use of the facility may be restricted due to special events or other circumstances.
- In the event of natural disasters such as typhoons or earthquakes, if the museum is temporarily closed, ComPaSS will also be closed and paid fees will be refunded. Please check the museum website for announcements regarding closures.
- Details of the exhibition are subject to change due to future circumstances.
