*Admission Discount for Special Exhibitions
Students enrolled in universities affiliated with the University Partnership Program are entitled to free, unlimited admission to the facilities listed below upon presentation of a valid Student ID.
Please remember to bring your Student ID.

Permanent Exhibits FREE Admission (Regular price: ¥630)
Please present your Student ID at the ticket counter located at the Permanent Exhibition entrance. You will be issued a "National Museum of Nature and Science University Partnership Admission Ticket."
Special Exhibitions(¥630 off the General/University Student rate) *Cannot be combined with other discounts.
Present your Student ID at the Special Exhibition Ticket Office and pay the discounted admission fee.
Enter through the Permanent Exhibition entrance, then proceed to the Special Exhibition Ticket Office inside the museum. Present your "University Partnership Admission Ticket" and pay the discounted admission fee.

Admission Procedures for Graduates Who No Longer Hold a Student ID
- One document proving enrollment on the planned date of visit.
Admission for Faculty and Staff (Guidance and Site Inspection)
Accompanied by Faculty/Staff
Faculty and staff who accompany students as part of a class or lesson can receive free admission to the Permanent Exhibits at the Ueno Main Building, the Institute for Nature Study, and the Tsukuba Botanical Garden.If you are unable to enter/visit simultaneously with the students but still require free admission for guidance purposes, please contact us in advance.
*If your group is large, please inform us in advance of the date, time, and number of visitors using the contact information below. We will make the necessary arrangements to ensure a smooth entry.(Registration for group visits is not required.)
Site Inspection by Faculty/Staff (Pre-visits)
Faculty and staff wishing to conduct a site inspection (pre-visit) of the Permanent Exhibits for the purpose of planning a guidance session or class usage must contact us in advance.Please see here for information on Guidance
