About Guided Tours
We offer guidance sessions at universities and other institutions during orientation and lectures, utilizing the National Museum of Nature and Science to introduce students to the enjoyment and fascination of museums, as well as effective ways to explore them. Our staff members provide an overview of the museum and highlight key points of interest in the exhibits.
Eligibility
Groups of students accompanied by faculty or staff from University Partnership member institutions.
Available Dates
Weekdays when the National Museum of Nature and Science facilities are open. (Excluding Saturdays, Sundays, national holidays, and the month of August.)
Utilizing the Guided Visit at Ueno Main Building
The content will be presented in a meeting room, focusing on an "Overview of the National Museum of Nature and Science" for approximately 30 minutes. Following the presentation, students are free to view the museum at their leisure.

Depending on your purpose of visit, we can add topics such as “Highlights of the Exhibitions.” Please inquire when making your reservation.
Important Notes
- Since the guidance is held in a meeting room, there is a limit to the number of people we can accommodate at one time. Please consult with us if your group exceeds 100 people.

mplementation is generally limited to around two times per year for each affiliated institution.

There is no separate fee required for implementing the Guided Visit.

Accompanying faculty and staff receive free admission/entry. Furthermore, if a pre-visit (site inspection) is required for the venue, please contact us in advance for free admission.

Application Procedure
Please notify us of your preferred date(s), time, and number of participants at least one month prior to your desired visit date.
After confirming the venue and schedule availability, we will contact you regarding the feasibility of your request.
Submission of the required application form after the date and time are finalized constitutes the official application.
Video Content Loan Service
We also support remote Guided Visits through the loan of video content. (Approximately 30 minutes, covering the same content as the in-person guidance.)
We encourage you to consider this option, which allows students to view the guidance before their visit and then proceed with individual viewing upon arrival.
