This exhibition explains biodiversity and, using photos, specimens, and videos, introduces the museum’s approaches to conserving it.

Japanese Scientists Who Have Won the Nobel Prize
Since Dr. Hideki Yukawa won the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1949, many Japanese scientists have received Nobel Prizes in various scientific fields. This traveling exhibition not only highlights their research achievements but also shares stories from their
childhood, allowing visitors to get a closer, more personal look at the Nobel Prize winners.
The related materials (replicas) for each researcher are framed, and they can be displayed using exhibition walls mounted on transport basket carts, so there is no need to worry about storing the carts during the exhibition.

The Birds That Amazed Darwin
This traveling exhibition introduces the birds known as “Darwin’s finches,” which are said to have inspired naturalist Charles Darwin’s theory of evolution.
This traveling exhibition introduces the birds known as “Darwin’s finches,” which are said to have inspired naturalist Charles Darwin’s theory of evolution. These were created as detailed bird carvings based on specimens borrowed from the American Museum of Natural History. The exhibition conveys the evolution of Darwin’s finches by comparing the shapes of their beaks and the sizes of their bodies.
