Visiting Special Exhibitions

Entry

On the day of your visit, please enter through the special exhibition entrance on the front (main) entrance side.

Admission Fees

Admission Fees for the Special Exhibition “BIG FIVE”
General and university students	2,300 yen (including tax)
High-school students and younger	600 yen (including tax)

• Free for preschool children
• Admission to this exhibition also includes same-day access to our permanent exhibitions: the Global Gallery and the Japan Gallery.
• Re-entry is not allowed.
• Depending on crowd conditions, you may need to wait before entering.

Admission Fee Exemptions

• People with disabilities (with a disability certificate) and one accompanying person are admitted free of charge.
• Special needs schools or classes, remote-area schools, and groups such as social welfare facilities for people with disabilities that use the Admission Fee Exemption System are admitted free of charge to both the special and permanent exhibitions. Groups wishing to use this system should first contact us by email at dantai@kahaku.go.jp.
