Feature and Habit
Their body is slender. The beak is slender and long. The dorsal fin is falcated and triangular in shape. Spinner dolphins are dark gray dorsally, light gray laterally and white ventrally. The beak is black above, white below and the tip and the mouth line are black. They have black stripes from the flippers to the eyes. Each tooth row is 46-65 teeth. They inhabit both offshore and coastal waters. They are in large pods.
