Feature and Habit
They have distinct (well-defined) beak. The dorsal fin is high, pointed, falcated triangular, and located at almost middle of the body. Yellow or yellowish brown and the gray patterns intersect each other in lateral surface of the body. The dorsal side is black and the ventral side is white. The beak is black and the tip is white. They have black thin stripes from the flippers to the middle of the lower jaw and from the eyes and to the melon. Each teeth row is 45-50. They usually inhabit in offshore waters. They are in pods of about 50 dolphins and sometimes over 1000.
