Research Field

Coral Biology/Algae-symbiotic marine invertebrates

Research Contents

I’m interested in the lives of life of 'immobile' animals, like corals, that live in shallow coastal waters. I'm also exploring the ways living things connect with one another, such as in parasitic or symbiotic relationships.

Activities

I study how living things cope with changes in their environment and why some of them disappear. Who takes over the empty space they leave behind? The never-ending “race for space” in nature always fascinates me.
