Comparative genomics, Endosymbiosis, Parasitism, Protist

Research Contents

 I am interested in the evolution of endosymbiosis and parasitism. I investigate the adaptation process to intracellular environment of organisms based on "comparative genomics" using various protists (unicellular eukaryotes). Since the protistology is relatively new research area, the various findings with high impacts are supposed to be still hidden.
