Research Departments

The Museum’s research-related structure, as shown in the organization chart below, comprises of four Research Departments (Departments of Zoology, Botany, Paleontology and Anthropology, Sciences); two gardens (Tsukuba Botanical Garden and Institute for Nature Study); three information centers ( Center for Collections, Center for Molecular Biodiversity Research and Center of History of Japanese Industrial Technology); and Showa Memorial Institute.
