Program Overview: Museum Day for High School Students
This is a special one-day event held at the Ueno Main Building exclusively for high school students.

The program is designed to provide hints for future career paths through presentations by researchers and staff about museum work, and to help students discover new ways to enjoy the museum by participating in hands-on programs.

The details for the FY 2024 event are as follows:

Program 1: "Chatting Museum for High School Students—Talk with Museum Staff"
Morning Session: 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM Afternoon Session: 1:30 PM – 2:30 PM
Program 2: Hands-on Program "Bone Watching"
 Morning Session: 11:30 AM – 12:20 PM Afternoon Session: 3:00 PM – 3:50 PM
Venue National Museum of Nature and Science (Ueno Main Building), Global Gallery 3F Lecture Hall and Workshop Space
Target Audience High School Students
(Junior high school students are also welcome to apply. If there is a lottery due to high demand, high school students will be given priority.)
Capacity 20 participants per session
Participation Fee Free of charge (Permanent exhibition admission is free for high school students and younger.)
