  • Admission to the permanent exhibitions is free to persons aged 65 or over. Please present some form of identification indicating age.
  • Disabled persons, plus one caregiver per disabled person, are admitted free. Please present your Disabled Person's Notebook or similar identification.

Nights for Astronomical Observation

  • Nights for Astronomical Observation are offered from 7:30 PM on the first Friday of each month from April through August, and from 6:30 PM from September through March (Available on clear nights, for 90 minutes).
    At Tsukuba Campus, Nights for Astronomical Observation are offered from sunset on clear nights, on the second Saturday of each month.
    * Advanced booking is required.

    (Assistant dogs, including guide dogs for the blind, hearing-assistance dogs and service dogs, are permitted.)

  • Intoxicated persons are not permitted to enter the Museum and will be asked to leave if found.
  • Please refrain from eating or smoking except in the designated areas.
  • Please refrain from any actions that may annoy other visitors.
