Feature and Habit
They have slender body and round head. They have no beak and the mothline is straight. The dorsal fin is falcated and locates almost middle of the body length. The flippers are convex at the leading edge and round at the tip. The dorsal side is pitch black and ventral portion of the body side is lighter color. They have an anchor-shaped pattern between the flippers at the ventral side. They have white patches on the ventral side, around the mouth and the jaw They have 8-11teeth in upper jaws and 11-13 in lower jaws. They inhabit in offshore waters. They are in pods of several whales.
