This comprehensive exhibition, one of the largest of its kind ever mounted, focuses mainly on the biodiversity of the Amazon Basin. Using fossils and preserved specimens, displays of live creatures and stunning audio-visual content, it introduces the mammals, reptiles, amphibians, birds, fish, insects, plants, and fungi that inhabit the great zone stretching from the headwaters to the mouth of the Amazon River. The exhibition also shows how the indigenous peoples of the area have interacted with the animals and plans they live among."

“At last it’s the time for adventure” Taking up this catchphrase, in the spirit of an Amazonian adventure, we have gathered around four hundred precious items, including fossils of pterosaurs, ancient fish, insects, and plants that inhabited the land before the Amazon was formed; preserved specimens of contemporary animals such as giant anacondas, armadillos, and sloths; a complete skeleton of the Amazon river dolphin endemic to the area; displays of living subjects such as aquatic plans and piranhas; and native head-dresses featuring beautiful bird feathers. The visitors experience is further enhanced by the use of a giant video screen, 8 meters wide and 4.2 meters high, that captures the vivid, dynamic world of the Amazon in high-resolution 4K vision and high-fidelity audio.
