Indo-West Pacific. Kepala dan badan tertutup oleh spinula kecil; organ nasal membentuk dua selaput membran; pola warna hampir sama dengan Arothron hispidus (lihat atas) tetapi mata dikelilingi garis putih dan garis kehitaman melengkung pada moncong; mencapai ukuran 50 cm. Indo-Pasifik Barat.
