Head and body covered with small spinules; nasal organ two bifid fleshy flaps; body greenish brown, paler ventrally; dorsal and anal fins yellowish, pectoral fin pale with yellow rays, caudal fin yellow with dark margin; reaching to 30 cm. Indo-West Pacific; found frequently in seagrass beds and mangrove areas.

Kepala dan badan tertutup oleh spinula kecil; organ nasal membentuk dua selaput membran; badan coklat kehijauan, bagian bawah pucat, sirip punggung dan sirip dubur kekuningan, sirip dada pucat dengan jari-jari sirip kuning, sirip ekor kuning dengan pinggiran kehitaman; mencapai ukuran 30 cm. Indo-Pasifik Barat.
