Feature and Habit
Their body looks robust and taper off toward the slender tail stock. The lower jaw is small and has curved and pointed teeth. The dorsal fin is small (not more than 0.2m) and locates two-third of the body length from the tip of rostrum. The flippers are short and broad, and locate anteriorly. The throat has no groove. They are dark gray-blue to brown dorsally, paler laterally , and white ventrally. The upper jaw has no erupted tooth, and the tooth count ranges 12-16 in the lower jaw. They inhabit in offshore waters. They are single or in pods of several whales.
